Passionate about the ocean and nature, I am a geoscientist specialized in oceanograhy, climate, palaeoclimates, environmental and ocean conditions.
I love to draw and am a freelance illustrator, enjoying representing science concepts and marine organisms. I really appreciate the naturalistic approach, observing the organisms and drawing them for a scientific purpose (encyclopedia and description). I also enjoy very much drawing in a less academic vibe ! For children, for a book, to give beauty and emotion.. a lot of occasion to have a more sketchy style. Go have a look on my portfolio !
As a freelance scientific mediator, I like taking an active part in research and in communicating about this research, popularizing science to non-specialists from children to adults. Via conference, taking part to scientific mediation events and even online ! I recently started a live stream channel on Twhich, where I usually stream my drawing process and talk about science and the path of creating supports to talk about science.
Highly multidisciplinary, I enjoy working on transverse research, mixing Climate, Oceanography, Geology, Ecology, population dynamics and Environment, and create mediation articles and (naturalistic) illustrations about it.
I used to work on plankton organisms studies, their taxonomy as well as their morphometry and geochemistry as a plankton specialist. I aimed to further understand (past) climates and environments in order to preserve our present and future ones. My field of work is now way larger ! I am particularly specialised in the "recent" Earth history: From Miocene (around 20 My ago) to present but with a geology strong background, I am comfortable working on pretty much every time period.
Traditional landscape drawing, French Alps.
Do not hesitate to contact me through my social network if you have any question or science project you would like me to be involved in.
I am also open to collaborate on science mediation projects and participate to science mediation events as scientific support.
